PenserSC is a company with deep roots in Jacksonville logistics. We started as Peninsular Warehouse in 1908. Through four generations of family ownership we have focused on delivering second-to-none service in the Southeast U.S.

To support today's most sophisticated supply chain systems, we've assembled a team of experts, developed powerful IT capabilities, and invested in new facilities to maintain our position as the only Southeast 3rd party logistics provider you will need. We've even added supply chain to our name: hence, the "SC" in PenserSC!

Our rich history started when Augustus R. O'Dell, Sr. acquired the company in 1912. The O'Dell family has been involved in owning and operating the company ever since. From Jacksonville, the company expanded to build warehouses and terminals in Orlando and Miami. Starting in 1966, Jacksonville logistics support services were added by creating Penser Transportation as a sister company to support the growing needs of our customers.

Today, all are united under PenserSC to develop strategies and deliver a wide range of Southeast supply chain solutions. Our people make the difference. Many have worked at previous Jacksonville logistics companies for 20 to 40 years.

Shawn Barnett, CEO

Shawn brings extensive experience in logistics and supply chain design. He played a key role in the expansion of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, as well as having held management positions at UPS and TNT Logistics (now CEVA). His experience includes Industrial Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations. His industry experience includes aerospace, food logistics, retail, pharmacueticals and automotve. He has been a frequent speaker at CSCMP and IWLA over the last 10 years. He is excited about PenserSC's growth and strong record as one of the premier Southeast 3pl companies.

Russell O'Dell, COO

Representing the fourth generation of O'Dell family leadership, Russell began building "hands-on" experience as a teenager with the company. Today he is an expert in Jacksonville and Florida logistics and is intimate with every aspect of the company's operations. He is dedicated to providing the entire team with the resources they need to ensure superior customer service. Prior to his position of COO, Russell was president of Peninsular Warehouse for 9 years. He is a life-long Jacksonville resident and has four children. His wife, Ana, serves as PenserSC's Director of Administration.
