• Humble Beginnings- PenserSC began as a tiny facility in Jacksonville known as Peninsular Warehouse Company. Initially focused on food logistics and consumer goods, it became a leader in contract warehousing. The O’Dell family has had continuous ownership in the company since 1912.
• A Period Of Change- To better position their customers, Peninsular Warehouse Company expanded their offerings to include facilities in the Orlando and the Miami regions.
• Setting The Stage- In 1966, Peninsular Warehouse Company and Service Warehouse combined their efforts and became Penser Transportation. The new distribution model offered direct deliveries to grocery and retail centers in the region.
• Recent Growth- Since 2006, PenserSC has grown over 60%. Offering new and expanded warehouse facilities, the company has also acquired a cold storage operation, a freight brokerage and a multi-temperature distribution network.
• Looking Forward- PenserSC will continue to offer the services our clients need, mixing the “old-fashioned” customer service we are known for with modern facilities and technology.
